Articles in periodicals

Letonica Description Items in Books
Database contains parts of books, chapters, paragraphs, fragments of texts, also pictures and similar. The creation of the database was started in 2004 from the new acquisitions of Letonica.
Index to Printed Music in Collections
Database of music scores included in collections and series.
Each individual work is indexed by composer, title and collection.
Vocal scores can be searched by the first line of text. Contains records from 2006 onwards, as well as the most sought-after collections.

Bibliographic database of the documents available at the Academic Library of the University of Latvia (ALUL). Since 2010, all the publications acquired in Latvian and foreign languages are available via
electronic catalog. The catalog is regularly supplemented with bibliographic descriptions of recent and earlier publications. The catalog holds descriptions of books, serials, dissertations,
thesis, maps, sheet music, audio-visual materials, digital materials, et al.
Bibliographic descriptions of documets acquired between 1993 and 2009, stored at the Library, are available via Library in-house catalog www.acadlib.lu.lv.

The database includes bibliographic information about doctoral thesis, dissertations, sets of scientific papers,
summaries and abstracts of dissertations elaborated or defended at UL.
For thesis defended after 2006, the full text is freely available online.
Graduation papers
Graduation papers of the University of Latvia
The database contains information about master, bachelor, graduation and qualification papers,
defended by UL students from 2003 to 2014 (more recent works are available in the E-resource repository of UL).
If the paper is accepted by the author for publication, its bibliographic record is linked to the full-text online version.
It is available by authorization with LUIS username and password.

The database comprises information on civil engineering and architecture publications from
journals and collections of articles. The full texts of the publications are available at the Civil
Engineering and Architecture branch of RTU Scientific Library.
Database of Electronic Resources
The creation of the database was started in 2011.
It contains electronic resources for each field of study at RTU.
Electronic resources are available on the World Wide Web but subscribed
resources – online on RTU website and portal ORTUS.
Users are encouraged to add their keywords to the records (standard form) thus
extending the range of information searching options.
To ensure accessibility of the most recent and the most useful resources in each field of the study
the Scientific Library of the Riga Technical University welcomes recommendations about the most significant electronic resources to be inserted in its database.
